Checked Baggage Restrictions
For each passenger, CanJet allows up to 2 checked pieces of 20kg (44 lbs) in combined weight and 158 cm (62 inches) in overall dimensions except for those travelling to the United States which CanJet allows 2 pieces at 20kg (44 lbs) per bag of combined weight of 40kg (88 lbs) and 158 cm (62 inches) in overall dimensions.
Carry-on Baggage Restrictions
CanJet will permit each passenger to carry onboard 1 standard item of carry-on baggage not exceeding 21 cm x 40 cm x 54 cm (8" x 16" x 21") in size and 1 personal item not exceeding 16 cm x 33 cm x 43 cm (6" x 13" x 17").
The maximum weight for each individual item should not exceed 10kg (22 pounds).
Items to be counted include any kind of bag or suitcase, briefcases, laptop computers (bags), diaper bags, camera cases that may contain items such as spare lenses and film in addition to the camera, cartons, boxes and other similar items.
Items not to be counted include cameras, coats, diplomatic or consular bags, purses 10" x 12" x 8" or less, receptacles containing human remains, strollers, child restraint systems, containers carrying life-sustaining items, live vital organs, crutches, canes, walkers and other similar items.
Excess Baggage Information
Excess baggage (this is inclusive of weight and size restrictions) will be charged $10.00 CAD per kg plus applicable taxes (for flights originating in Canada) or $10.00 USD per kg plus applicable taxes (for flights originating in the United States or internationally). Carriage of the excess piece(s) is subject to space and weight availability. Canjet cannot accept baggage over 32 kg (70 lbs).
Travelling with an Infant
Passengers traveling with an infant who have not purchased a seat for the infant: Infants are not allowed their own baggage allowance however they are allowed free of charge 2 extra pieces per infant.
Passengers traveling with an infant who purchased a seat for the infant: Once a seat is purchased for the baby they are allowed the same allowance as the adult.
Check-in Times Check-In opens 3 hours prior to departure.
Transborder/International travel customers presenting themselves at the CanJet counter less than 60 minutes before scheduled departure of a flight may lose their reservation

- $25.00 CAD for seats in the emergency exit row (please be advised that you must be 12 years or older, able to lift 70 lbs, and willing and able to help in case of an emergency).
- $25.00 CAD for seats with extra leg room.
- $20.00 CAD for seats ahead of the emergency exit row.
- $15.00 CAD for seats behind the emergency exit row.
- On all flights we will serve a complementary cold meal with a non-alcoholic beverage.
- Beer and wine can be purchased for the amount of $6.00 CAD or $6.00 USD each.
- Smirnoff Ice, rum and vodka for $6.00 CAD or $6.00 USD each.
- CanJet now offers in flight entertainment on most of its flights.
- Headsets are for sale on board for the amount of $3.00 CAD or USD.
